Vaccination against TNI-Polri Guard for the Elderly and the General Public at PKM Tanggunggunung

Tulungagung – The Responsibility of the Tulungagung Police with the Koramil and the Responsibility of the Covid-19 Task Force carried out security for the Merdeka vaccination at the Tulungagung Community Health Center.

The vaccination was followed by the elderly and the general public of Ngepoh Village, involving the vaccinator of the Health Care Center at the Puskesmas Tanggunggunung, Friday (08/10/2021).

The Head of the Tanggunggunung Sector Police, AKP Kasianto, SH, explained that the Tulungagung Police’s Merdeka vaccination was in collaboration with the Tulungagung District Health Office for the prevention of Covid-19.

“This is a form of support for the success of the government’s program to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic,” said AKP Kasianto.

Today the vaccination was held at the Puskesmas Tanggunggunung. Today’s vaccine is targeted at residents of Ngepoh Village, Responsibilitygunung Village.

“The vaccination activity was attended by 400 residents of Ngepoh Village at PKM Responsibilitygunung,” he continued.

This independent vaccination is an activity to accelerate vaccination to achieve herd immunity in an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in Tulungagung Regency.

AKP Kasianto said, in this activity, the Responsibility of the Police Officers along with related elements were present at the location to carry out security for the smooth operation of the Covid-19 vaccination.

“This security aims to prevent security disturbances, as well as anticipate the occurrence of crowds to prevent the spread of Covid-19,” explained AKP Kasianto.

Alhamdulillah, today’s vaccination is running safely and smoothly and nothing untoward happened.

AKP Kasianto also invites the community to participate in the success of the Government’s Vaccination Program and continue to adhere to the Health Procedures “even though the community has been vaccinated, the community must remain disciplined in the Health Procedures, keep a distance, wear masks, wash hands with soap or hand sanitizer and avoid crowds,” he concluded.
