Tactical Floor Game for Security at the ASEAN Summit

National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo led the Tactical Floor Game (TFG) to secure the ASEAN Summit in West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

The TFG was attended by all police personnel who are members of the security task force for the ASEAN Summit.

The National Police Chief said that the TFG was to prepare eight task forces that had been formed to deal with problems that could occur during the ASEAN Summit.

“Our hope is that by providing examples of problems that all members understand what their duties are and are able to solve problems, how to act and coordinate with other task forces and TNI colleagues in ring 1,” explained the Chief of Police quoted from humas.polri.go.id , Thursday (4/5).

The National Police Chief explained that with this TFG, all task forces are also expected to be able to coordinate and communicate from the directives of leaders in the field and the command center.

In fact, the TFG will be carried out again with all other stakeholders.

“All of this, of course, can provide us with preparations for security which will be carried out in the coming days,” he said.

The 8 task forces are the Preemptive Task Force, the Preventive Task Force, the Action Task Force, the Rolakir Task Force, the Public Relations Task Force, the Banops Task Force, the Gakum Task Force, and the Anti-Terror Task Force. The National Police Chief hopes that his personnel will always coordinate with the TNI who are in ring one,

“Just now we from the Security Task Force, especially from the police consisting of 8 task forces carried out the Tactical Floor Game this morning, as a form of our effort to prepare the PAM plan which we will carry out together with colleagues from the TNI,” said Kapori.

Previously, the National Police Chief emphasized that his party together with relevant stakeholders would routinely carry out evaluations to ensure that there were no obstacles that occurred during the implementation of the ASEAN Summit.

In the operation codenamed ‘Operation Komodo 2023’, the National Police Headquarters and elements of the NTT Regional Police, namely 2,627 personnel, ranging from the pre-emptive task force to the auxiliary task force.

“All activities related to the ASEAN Summit are expected to run well,” said the National Police Chief.
