KBRN, Jakarta: The synergy between the Corruption Eradication Commission and the Directorate of Corruption Crimes, Bareskrim, Police Headquarters resulted in an arrest in a hand arrest (OTT) operation against the Nganjuk Regent.
Head of the Criminal Investigation Agency (Kabareskrim) at the National Police Headquarters, Commissioner General Agus Andrianto, said that his party would hold a joint exposition with the anti-Rasuah agency at the KPK’s Red and White House.
“Later we will have a joint exposure at the KPK,” said Agus when contacted by RRI, Monday (10/5/2021).
Agus also said that currently the National Police and the KPK were discussing the handling of the case, to the National Police or the KPK in the future.
“The problem is who will handle it, we will see the results of the coordination,” said Agus.
Meanwhile, the KPK claims to have continued to support the Bareskrim Team at the Police Headquarters in this activity since the beginning which has been carrying out investigations since around April 2021 on suspicion of corruption (corruption) receiving a certain amount of money to take care of promotion in the Nganjuk Regency Government.
“The information we have received so far, the Joint Team has made inquiries for the support of the Nganjuk Police for about 10 people who were arrested, including the Regional Head and several ASNs in the Nganjuk Regency Government,” said Plt. KPK spokesman, Ali Fikri, in a statement received on Monday (10/5/2021).
Ali conveyed the evidence that was found and secured, including money in rupiah denominations, which is currently being counted and confirmed to several parties who have been secured.
“We will convey the development further,” said Ali.
