IndonesianPolice – Jakarta –The Indonesian National Police (Polri) organized an Awarding event to commemorate Hari Bhayangkara ke-77 (the 77th anniversary of the Bhayangkara Day). The event involved a creative competition related to the functions of the police and recognized the achievements of Polri personnel in various international competitions. The Awarding event took place at Balai Samudera, North Jakarta, on Wednesday, July 12th.
Celebrating Hari Bhayangkara ke-77
During the occasion, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, the Chief of Police (Kapolri), expressed his pride in conducting the creative competition as part of the celebration of the 77th Hari Bhayangkara. He also appreciated the Polri personnel who have brought honor to Indonesia by excelling in international competitions.
“Polri has organized a creative competition as part of the 77th Hari Bhayangkara celebration and awarded the personnel who have excelled and brought honor to Indonesia in several international competitions,” said Kapolri Jend. Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
The event attracted attention by involving participants of all ages, including the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI-Polri), in various creative competitions related to the functions of the police. One of the remarkable competitions was the storytelling and short story competition about the police with a theme of their choice.

Inspiring Hopes and Aspirations
During the event, the children participating in the storytelling competition expressed their hopes that the police would become heroes and protectors for them. Kapolri shared his hope that Polri would fulfill the expectations of the community and improve the quality of their services to bring the police closer to the people.
“Our hope for Polri is to fulfill the expectations of the community and improve the quality of services so that the police can be closer to the people,” expressed Kapolri.
Kapolri also emphasized that there are still many aspects that need to be evaluated and improved to achieve higher standards. He thanked all the participants for their contributions to this event and considered it as a new spirit for the Polri institution.
With the Awarding event, Polri recognizes the achievements of its personnel and celebrates creativity within the society. It also serves as an opportunity for Polri to strengthen its relationship and engagement with the public in maintaining security and order.
