Indonesia Police -Bali – The National Police ensured that 75 percent of security preparations ahead of the G20 Summit (KTT) in Bali had reached 75 percent.
The head of the public relations division of the National Police, Inspector General (Pol) Dedi Prasetyo, said that this readiness would continue to be improved in November until it reached 100 percent.
“Currently, 75 percent of the preparations have been made, on November 7 we hope that it will be 90 percent and on November 11, everything will be 100 percent ready,” he said, quoted by Antara, Monday (31/10/2022).
Dedi said that the security will involve a joint force of the TNI, Polri, from the regional government (Pemda), and also Pecalang.
A total of 8,000 joint personnel from the National Police Headquarters, Bali Police and the nearest Polda such as the West Java Police, the NTB Police and the East Java Police, will be prepared.
“Prior to the G20 Summit (14-15 November), the National Police carried out the Puri Agung Operation. Starting from 7 to 18 November,” he said.

Meanwhile, there are five clusters that will be involved in the security. The first Seminyak cluster with 297 personnel.
The Jimbaran cluster has 257 personnel, the Sanur C cluster has 82 personnel. Meanwhile, in other places, the North Nusa Dua cluster has 187 personnel, and the South Nusa Dua cluster has 213 personnel.
“All personnel involved are specifically in that cluster. In total there are 1,038 personnel,” he said, adding.
Furthermore, there is also security at the airport which is divided into Ring I Paspampres, Ring II from Air Force Base by Paskas and Ring III from Kodam and Bali Police. And security at the airport by 340 personnel.
Then, for security at the hotel and the Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) area, they will involve 245 personnel. Mangrove Forest area as many as 233 personnel.
“The Turtle Island area has 201 personnel. These are the areas that will be the focus of observation by the Puri Agung 2022 Task Force,” said Dedi.
The G20 is its own global forum consisting of 19 countries and one region. Ensuring by contributing 80 percent of the world’s gross domestic product (GDP), 75 percent of international trade, and 60 percent of the world’s population.
