Ade Armando Beaters Successfully Identify, Police Arrest

Jakarta – Yesterday, social media activist Ade Armando was beaten by a group of people while demonstrating in front of the Indonesian Parliament building, (11/4)

Although he suffered serious injuries to the face, fortunately the life of the University of Indonesia (UI) lecturer was saved.

Ade Armando was later rescued by several police officers and taken to hospital for treatment.

After the incident, photos of several men who were suspected of molesting Ade Armando circulated in cyberspace.

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Endra Zulpan said his party had identified the alleged perpetrator of the beating of social media activist Ade Armando.

The identities and photos of the alleged perpetrators were widely circulated on social media and the WhatsApp Group.

“Yes, it has been identified as the perpetrator of the attack,” said Zulpan, quoted from PMJ News, Tuesday (12/4).

Judging from the information circulating, the perpetrators of the beating had the initials DUH, TSBP, AL and AP. Zurpan said the four suspects would soon be arrested under the direction of the Metro Police Chief, Fadir Imran.

“Yes, according to the message from the Chief of Police,” he explained.

For your information, Ade Armando is one of the victims of the demonstration in front of the DPR RI building in Central Jakarta. Ade Armando was beaten and trampled by protesters.

Ade Armando suffered injuries to his head and face as a result of the beating. He was rushed to Siloam Hospital in Central Jakarta for treatment.

Previously, the Kapolda Metro Jaya Inspector General Pol Fadil Imran said his party had to fire tear gas at the crowd to save the life of Ade Armando who was badly beaten.

Apart from Ade Armando, Fadir said that six police officers were also victims of mass beatings.

“There was an incident that required us to shoot tear gas to save the life of Ade Armando’s brother,” said Fadil at the Indonesian Parliament Building, Monday (11/4) night.
