Jakarta – Indonesia will host the 2022 G20 forum and Polda Metro has prepared several plans to secure the series events of G20.
Deputy Chief of the Metro Jaya Police (Wakapolda Metro Jaya) Brigadier General Drs. Hendro Pandowo, M.Sc., stated that his staff had prepared hundreds of personnel to secure the event. A total of 547 personnel will be deployed.
“Today the Polda Metro Jaya, along with Kodam Jaya and the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta, conduct a security operation for G20 Finance Meeting, which involved 547 Polri and TNI personnel, and also the regional government,” explained the Wakapolda Metro Jaya, Monday (14/2/2022).
Wakapolda said these hundreds of security personnel would be spread over several security points. 26 security objects will be guarded by the officers during the G20 Finance Meeting in Jakarta.

“Security will be carried out in a ring pattern consisting of 26 security objects, starting from securing the lane, securing the residence of the participants, securing the area of the JCC Senayan building, outside the JCC Senayan building, the entrance to Senayan, and several other security objects,” he said.
The One-Star General also said that the G20 event was an important event for Indonesia. For this reason, he asked his members to maintain their professionalism while on duty to secure the agenda.
“Pay attention to your attitude while on duty, be humble and do it professionally,” said Brigadier General Drs. Hendro Pandowo.
