One of them is the Candle Operation launched by the Police. The activity will take effect from December 20 to January 2, 2022.

217,000 Polri personnel were deployed to oversee the policy.

In the candle operation, the National Police Chief emphasized that he would maximize and optimize the micro-scale PPKM post,” said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Headquarters, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo in a statement, Friday (11/26/2021).

Dedi explained that the National Police will optimize micro-scale PPKM in this operation. The police also reactivated the check point post to filter people who want to enter and exit the area.

“The partition has been removed, so there is no such thing as a partition,” he said.

Dedi said that check point posts are located in all toll gates and border lanes between regions. Likewise at the entrance to the air and sea routes.

He said facilities at the post, such as free PCR and vaccination for people who have not carried out the first or second vaccination.

“Well there will also be checked there,” said Dedi.
