BALIKPAPAN – Alumni Akabri 1998 “Nawahasta”, throughout Friday (17/9) morning held a social action by distributing 150 food packages targeting Islamic Boarding Schools, Church Congregations and Covid 19 Volunteers in Balikpapan City.
Balikpapan Police Chief Kombes Pol V Thirdy Hadmiarso who led this activity said the social service carried out by the 1998 Akabri alumni “Nawahasta” as a form of concern for community members affected by COVID-19 for approximately two years hit Indonesia and made a positive contribution so that it could be felt directly. by communities in need.
“We are moving in three locations, Pondok Pesantren Umm Sulaim Balikpapan, Toraja Church of the Elin Congregation and also Covid 19 Volunteers of Mount Kendeng Balikpapan, each of which is given 50 food packages,” he explained.
The Police Chief continued, this activity is also a means of friendship between the TNI – POLRI and the community so as to create a harmonious communication relationship to reduce the burden on the community affected by COVID-19, hopefully in the future the community will be able to realize a resilient Indonesia, growing Indonesia.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Elim Balikpapan Toraja Church Council, Yuliati Mangape said, the Toraja Church Congregation expressed many thanks to the 1998 Alumni Akabri who have provided social assistance to care for our congregations affected by covid 19, hopefully with this assistance it can help the economy of the congregation in in the middle of the covid 19 pandemic.
In a separate location, the Head of the Covid 19 Volunteer for Mount Kendeng Balikpapan, Leo Sukoco, expressed his gratitude to the 1998 Alumni Akabri who had cared for the community, especially the members of the Covid 19 Volunteer for Mount Kendeng by providing social assistance to share 50 basic food packages.
Leo Sukoco also prays for all the 1998 Akabri alumni to always be given health and will be even better in the future, both in assignments and careers.
For information, in this social service activity, all alumni of the 1998 Akabrii “Nawahasta” who served in the Mulawarman Military Command VI, East Kalimantan Regional Police and Balikpapan Dhomber Air Base were participated.
In addition to Sharing Food, the 1998 Alumni of the Indonesian Military Academy “NahwaHasta” is scheduled to hold a vaccination campaign to the people of Balikpapan City on September 21, 2021, which will be held simultaneously throughout Indonesia.
