The Nemangkawi Task Force carried out sweeping ahead of the XX PON in Papua. Armed DPOs who have not been caught will now be hunted by the Nemangkawi Task Force. Kasatgas Humas Nemangkawi explained, “This time the task force managed to arrest 3 DPO reports from the police on behalf of Ananias Yalak Alias Senate Soll on Jalan Samaru, Dekai District, Kab. Yahukimo on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 05.30 WIT.”
1. Police Report Number: LP/55/XII/2019/Papua/Res Yahukimo, dated December 1, 2019, regarding the burning of BRI Bank ATM Cab. Dekai-Yahukimo.
2. Police Report Number: LP/38/VII/2020/Papua/Res Yahukimo, dated August 11, 2020, regarding the murder of KPU-Dekai staff member HENDRY JOVINSKY at the Teh-Dekai river bridge.
3. Police Report Number: LP/39/VII/2020/Papua/Res Yahukimo, August 20, 2020, the murder of public (private) MUHAMMAD TOYIB at Jl. Dekai Airport.
The chronology of the arrests: at 03.46 WIT, the Nemangkawi Task Force and the Yahukimo Police Personnel led by the Yahukimo Police Chief moved to the target location in Jalan Samaru, Dekai District, Kab. Yahukimo. At 05.28 WIT, the team arrived at the target location and immediately arrested Br. ANANIAS YALAK alias SENAT SOLL and arrested 5 (five) other people from inside the house (Pilas Matuan, Apius Tabla, Mekison, Sapuk Asso, Abert Matuan). At 05.45 WIT, the team moved from the TKP location to the Dekai Hospital to conduct a medical examination because Ananias was shot in the left and right legs for resisting and was about to run away when he was arrested.
Soll alias Ananias Yalak, born in Yahukimo on July 23, 1996, age 25, male, Protestant Christian religion, occupation: former TNI, citizen: Indonesian, ethnic Kimyal (yahukimo), address: Jl. Gunung, Dekai district, kab. Yahukimo.
According to police records, Ananias Yalak was involved in:
a. Without the right to control/carry ammunition.
Soll Senate @ananias Yalak, who is still serving as TNI press (active), handed over 155 rounds of ammunition to Ruben Wakla, who, later on Monday, September 10, 2018, at around 10.06 WIT, entered the X-Ray examination room and was about to leave for Dekai-yahukimo. Ruben Wakla was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months (free).
b. Burning ATM bank BRI cab. Dekai-yahukimo:
On Sunday, November 30, 2019, there was a fire at the bri dekai kab. Yahukimo and, after an investigation, the perpetrators were Senate Soll @ananias Yalak and Ariel Sonyap alias Koroway (3 year sentence).
c. Murder of KPU-dekai staff member Hendry Jovinsky
On Tuesday, August 11, 2020 (14.20 WIT) at the Kali Teh Bridge/Brazza-Dekai Small Bridge, there was a murder of KPU-Dekai staff on behalf of Hendry Jovinsky. The victim and Kenan Mohi went to their sister Karolina Pahabol’s house to deliver medicine on their way back to the Senate. Soll, together with Temius Magayang (dpo), intercepted a motorcycle driven by Kenan Mohi using a long machete. The Soll senate examined the victim’s identity card and then stabbed the victim’s body.
d. Murder of the public (private) Muhammad Toyib
On Thursday, August 30, 2020, the victim, Muhammad Toyib, was crossing the road to the airport. The perpetrators hid on the side of the road. Then the perpetrator, Yoel Mirin, shot the victim until he fell. The victim stood up and tried to run away towards Dekai, but Yepi Magayang’s brother, Yepi Magayang (DPO), chased the victim and carried out the persecution using a machete.
For previous violations, the legal articles that will be imposed are: article 1 paragraph (1) of the emergency law no. 12 of 1951, in conjunction with article 55 of the Criminal Code.
