The National Police Chief Releases Vaccination Buses to Target Unreachable Residents

JAKARTA – The National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has released 34 mobile vaccination buses, as a form of acceleration or acceleration to immediately create Herd Immunity against Covid-19 or the corona virus.

The mobile vaccination bus is a collaboration between the TNI-Polri and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN). Later, the bus will target residents directly, especially in unreachable residential locations.

“The buses that will later be used to help provide vaccination services to communities in areas not covered by centralized mass vaccination activities. This is a form of service for vaccination activities by mobile and touching the community,” said Sigit at the JCC Building, Central Jakarta, Saturday (21/8/2021).

With the mobile vaccination bus, the former Banten Police Chief hopes that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi)’s target to immediately realize group immunity against the corona virus can be created immediately.

“We hope that in the future, the synergy between all stakeholders to help accelerate mass vaccination for our people and nation to immediately realize Herd Immunity can really be done well. By involving all parties so that these achievements can be achieved quickly. As we expected,” said the former Police Chief of Criminal Investigation Unit.

Sigit said that with the immediate realization of Herd Immunity, community activities, especially in the economic sector, could return to normal. Therefore, Sigit appreciates the good intentions of KADIN who helped accelerate mass vaccination.

“With the Herd Immunity already formed with assessments of the current situation, the existing level can be lowered and of course economic activities can be continuously restored, as before and of course this is a joint task, and Mr. KADIN, the General Chair of KADIN , which of course encourages all of this so that activities can run well, “said Sigit.

In addition to releasing the mobile vaccination bus, Sigit also reviewed the mass vaccination activities organized by KADIN together with the TNI-Polri at the JCC Building, Central Jakarta.
