JAMBI – Jambi City partition starting August 23 will tighten PPKM level 4.
The Jambi Police Chief, Kombes Pol Eko Wahyudi said, there were 24 isolation and tightening points of which four were blocked at the Jambi city limits, namely Pal 11, Simpang Rimbo, Auduri I and Auduri II.
Then for Jambi City, Eko said there were several spots guarded by officers, namely in the Jambi Market area, Keris Monument, Juang Monument, Fountains in the Governorate area, and in Payo Selincah.
Then the Mayor of Jambi, Syarif Fasha said, for the people of Jambi City, they could leave for certain reasons, such as shopping for groceries and medicines, which are essential and critical.
“Non-essential businesses, clothing stores, furniture stores, shoe shops and electronics stores are temporarily closed for the next seven days. For basic necessities and medicines and building materials which are included in essentials, they will remain open,” said Fasha.
Then, public transportation is also allowed, such as angkot and online motorcycle taxis.
“Because most of the drivers have been vaccinated, online motorcycle taxis will continue to run as long as they have been vaccinated. As well as limiting the number of passengers in private cars, there should be no more than three people, including the driver,” said Fasha.
