Reviewing KSPSI Mass Vaccination, National Police Chief: Workers Must Stay Healthy and Stay Away from Corona

PRFMNEWS – The National Police Chief General, Listyo Sigit Prabowo reviewed the implementation of mass vaccination for workers by the Confederation of All Indonesian Workers Unions (KSPSI) at PT. Kahatex, Sumedang, West Java, Thursday 5 August 2021.

Sigit said, health is a priority for the movement of activities and the wheels of the community’s economy, in the midst of the current Covid-19 pandemic.

Therefore, as one of the drivers of the economy, workers must stay healthy so that they are kept away from exposure to the corona virus.

“Clearly, I want the workers’ health to be maintained and the economy to continue to grow. Therefore, both of them must be able to work,” said Sigit in front of the workers, accompanied by the TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto.

Moreover, according to him, workers can be categorized as one of the groups called foreign exchange heroes for Indonesia. In particular, those who work in the export-import sector.

Therefore, the government and relevant stakeholders together with workers must work together to accelerate vaccination in order to realize Herd Immunity or group immunity against the corona virus.

“Accelerate vaccination, especially for our friends, workers who are members of KSPSI. We know that workers are one of the heroes of foreign exchange, because with the strength of exports so far, our colleagues have done it. Therefore, we have an obligation to keep all of our fellow workers healthy. ,” he explained.

In order to accelerate, Sigit said, the government will deploy 15,000 vaccines for workers in West Java. The goal is to immediately create strong health for workers, so that the wheels of the economy can turn again.

“Our vaccination activities have lowered 15 thousand vaccines. And if it’s still lacking, it can be re-coordinated,” he concluded.***
