PPKM Level 4 Extended Again, Police Implement Traffic Blocking in the Capital City of Jakarta

Based on the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs (Inmendagri) Number 24 of 2021 dated July 25, 2021, the regions that implement PPKM, for Level 4 the list is as follows.

PPKM Level 4 consists of:

First: DKI Jakarta Province in the Thousand Islands Regency, West Jakarta, East Jakarta, South Jakarta, North Jakarta and Central Jakarta).

Second: Banten Province in South Tangerang City, Tangerang City, Serang City, Tangerang Regency and Cilegon City.

Third: West Java Province, consisting of Purwakarta, Karawang, Bekasi, Sumedang, Bogor, West Bandung, Bandung, Sukabumi, Depok, Cirebon, Cimahi, Bogor, Bekasi, Banjar, Bandung, Tasikmalaya regencies.

Fourth: Central Java Province in Jepara Regency, Sukoharjo, Rembang, Pati, Kudus, Klaten, Kebumen, Banyumas, Wonosobo, Wonogiri, Temanggung, Tegal, Sragen, Semarang, Purworejo, Kendal, Karanganyar, Demak, Batang, Banjarnegara, then the city of Tegal , Surakarta, Semarang, Salatiga, Magelang and Pekalongan

Fifth: the Province of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in the Regencies of Sleman, Bantul, Kulonprogo, Gunungkidul and the City of Yogyakarta.
Seventh: East Java Province is implemented in the districts of Tulungagung, Sidoarjo, Madiun, Lamongan, Gresik, Tuban, Trenggalek, Ponorogo, Ngawi, Nganjuk, Mojokerto, Malang, Magetan, Lumajang, Jombang, Jember, Bondowoso, Bojonegoro, Blitar, Banyuwangi, Bangkalan, Situbondo, Surabaya, Mojokerto, Malang, Madiun, Kediri, Blitar, Batu, Probolinggo, Pasuruan.

Eighth: Bali Province in Badung Regency, Gianyar, Klungkung, Tabanan, Buleleng and Denpasar City.

Previously, President Joko Widodo announced the extension of the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities or PPKM Level 4 for the period 3-9 August 2021.

“Taking into account several indicators of cases this week, the government has decided to continue PPKM Level 4 from August 3-9, 2021 in certain regencies and cities by adjusting community activity and mobility arrangements according to the conditions of each region,” said Indonesian President Joko Widodo. in a statement broadcast through the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube channel on Monday (2/8/2021).

Previously, the government implemented Emergency PPKM on 3-25 July 2021, then PPKM Level 1-4 was implemented on 26 July – 2 August 2021.

“The PPKM Level 4 which was implemented July 26 to August 2, 2021 yesterday has brought improvements on a national scale compared to before, both daily case confirmation, active case rate, cure rate and BOR percentage (Bed Occupancy Ratio),” said President Joko Widodo.

He also expressed his gratitude to all Indonesian people for their understanding and support for the implementation of PPKM.
