JAKARTA – The National Police has prepared five operational plans during the Implementation of Level 4 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) until August 2, 2021. The five plans are included in the Advanced Safe Operation Nusa II.
Head of the National Police Public Relations Division Inspector General Pol Argo Yuwono said the operation plan was to support efforts to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. The first five action plans will continue to monitor and secure the vaccine.
“Secondly, providing education to the public regarding vaccination and PPKM. Third, the National Police will help encourage vaccination activities so that community immunity or ‘herd immunity’ is immediately formed,” he said in his statement, Thursday (22/7).
He also said that the National Police would provide assistance to officers at PPKM related to testing, tracing and treatment or 3T. The National Police will also amplify or expand the coverage of what has been done by the government, TNI-Polri and the public in handling the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Fifthly, providing assistance to local governments related to judicial operations,” said Argo.
The Advanced Safe Nusa II Operation is a contingency operation carried out by the National Police in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. The operation has been ongoing since the Emergency PPKM was enforced on July 3 and ended on August 2, 2021.
