Ahead of Eid al-Adha 2021, the police have prepared 1,065 isolation points in the Lampung, Java and Bali regions which will be held on 16-22 July 2021.
Polri, Inspector General. Pol. Drs. Istiono, M.H. conveyed that the National Police would build 1,065 isolation points in the area from Lampung to Java and Bali.
In its implementation, the Korlantas Polri will conduct isolation in 21 locations. It consists of 2 posts on the toll road, 17 non-toll posts, and 2 posts at the port. Then Banten for 20 location points, namely 2 posts on toll roads, 17 non-toll posts, and 1 at the port.
Polda Metro Jaya will also deploy 100 locations of blocking posts, which are spread across 15 toll roads and 85 posts on non-toll roads.
The most blocking posts were built in West Java, as many as 353 posts, of which 21 were on toll roads and 332 posts on non-toll roads. Then Central Java with 271 locations, with 27 posts on toll roads and 244 posts on non-toll roads.
Then Yogyakarta for 23 blocking post locations, all of which are on non-toll roads. Meanwhile, in East Java, 204 posts for blocking locations were built, consisting of 18 posts on toll roads, 185 posts on non-toll roads, and one at the port.
Bali will also implement 45 blocking posts ahead of Eid al-Adha, of which 43 are prepared on non-toll roads and two others at ports.
The two-star general also explained that these blocking points will be monitored selectively, and only certain road users or passengers can pass through them.
“Only essential and critical sectors can run. The travel requirements still follow the SE (Circular) guidelines of the Minister of Transportation and the Task Force, “explained the National Police Chief of Traffic.
