West Java Regional Police Raids Illegal Drug Production Sites in West Bandung Regency

Personnel of the Directorate of Drug Investigation of the West Java Police successfully raided an illegal drug factory in Barunagri Village, RT 03/04, Sukajaya Village, Lembang District, West Bandung Regency, Wednesday (07/07/21).

The warehouse building belonging to the suspect SS was transformed into a factory to produce pills bearing the letters LL. From inside the factory, officers also found a number of evidence, such as 15 large boxes containing 100 packages of ready-to-eat drugs, and 1/2 bucket of medicine that reads LL ready to be packed.

According to the Intermediate Officer of the West Java Regional Police, the illegal drugs will be circulated outside Java, such as to Kalimantan and Sulawesi with a sales turnover of IDR 12 million per box containing 100,000 illegal drugs.

As a result of their actions, the suspects were charged with Article 196 juntco Article 197 of Law Number 36 of 2009 concerning Health with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.
