Located at the Krida Bhakti Purwodadi Stadium, the Grobogan Police held periodic Police Self-Defense exams for all Grobogan Police personnel, a series of physical fitness tests starting from March 2 to 5, 2021.

The self-defense exam takes place in turns according to the schedule set by the Ur Lat Bag Sumda Grobogan Police. The exam was led by the Head of the Iptu Examination Team, Hardono.

Polri self-defense is the ability of Polri members to defend themselves or protect others from enemy attacks by using techniques to evade, fend off even if necessary they can counterattack with bare hands or tools to provide protection to the community.

In the implementation of the Police Martial Arts exam, what is tested is the ability of members to defend themselves with basic Polri Martial Arts techniques such as falls, front rolls, punches, and kicks.

As for the techniques in the National Police Martial Arts which were not implemented due to the Covid-19 Pandemic Period which required social distancing, namely the basic techniques of carrying prisoners and bare hands or with tools to immobilize opponents.

Kapolres Grobogan AKBP Jury Leonard Siahaan SIK MH when reviewing the implementation of the exam said that the National Police Martial Arts examination activities are carried out periodically every 6 months

“The purpose of holding the National Police Martial Arts exam for Grobogan Police personnel is to score 13 components as a condition for proposing promotion and development education (Dikbang) and to support the implementation of daily tasks in the field,” said AKBP Jury, Friday (5/3).
