Hundreds of Police in Bontang Carry Out the First Stage of Covid-19 Vaccination

Bontang – Hundreds of personnel from the Bontang Polres and Polsek Janggung began undergoing the first phase of the Covid-19 Vaccination, which took place at the Main Meeting Room (Rupatama) 2nd Floor of the Bontang Police Headquarters, Tuesday (2/3/2021).

Vaccination of Bontang Police personnel is carried out in stages over three days starting today March 2 – 4, 2021. At least every day there are 106 personnel taking the Covid-19 Sinovac Vaccine.

A total of 318 personnel from the Bontang Police and Bontang City Police are planned to undergo the Covid-19 Vaccination, which will be carried out in stages, while the Muara Badak and Marangkayu Polsek are included in the Adsminitration area of ​​the Kutai Kertanegara Regency Government following the vaccination schedule at their respective Puskesmas in their area.

Kapolres Bontang, AKBP Hanifa Martunas Siringoringo, SIK. MH, through the Head of Public Relations, AKP H. Suyono, told the media that this vaccination was carried out as an effort to prevent the spread of Covid 19 to all members of the National Police and ASN within the Bontang Police.

“This vaccination is expected to help the immune system of the National Police and ASN personnel, especially the Bontang Police from the Covid-19 virus, so that it is safer when interacting with colleagues, family and the community,” said the Head of Public Relations.

Asked about the effect of the Covid-19 vaccination, which was injected for the first time in his body, the alumnus of the Seba Milsuk Police Force V of 1986 said that there was nothing different from other types of vaccinations.

“It doesn’t hurt (when being injected), it’s no different from other vaccines. Have not felt the effect yet. Observation 30 minutes after that. If there are no side effects, it can work right away, “said AKP Suyono who also participated in this first stage of vaccination.

Furthermore, this three beam officer said, the series of vaccinations was carried out starting from measuring height, weight, body temperature, registration, carrying out screening regarding blood pressure and disease history, then carrying out vaccine injections, he explained.

After completing the injection of members, observations were made for about 30 minutes and waited for the Covid-19 Vaccine certificate, said Suyono.
