Central Sulawesi Regional Police – Two high-ranking Indonesian National Police officers in Central Sulawesi launched the archipelago tough villages in Palu City and Donggala Regency, Thursday (25/02/2021) morning.
A tough village that received the honor of being visited by the Head of Central Sulawesi Police Inspector General of Police Drs. Abdul Rakhman Baso, SH and Commander of Korem 132 Tadulako Brigadier General Farid Makruf, M.A are BTN Citra Pesona Indah RT 002 / RW 004 Talise Valangguni Village, Mantikulore District, Palu City and Boya Village, Benawa District, Donggala Regency.
In his remarks, the Head of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police revealed that the tough village of the archipelago is a TNI-Polri program to maintain food readiness and strengthen the people’s economy due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which synergizes with the government to create a resilient society in the economic, socio-cultural and security fields in the face of the Covid pandemic. -19.
“In accordance with the orders of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Joko Widodo during the Covid-19 pandemic, it is hoped that food readiness to meet people’s needs must be maintained. Therefore, the food security program implemented by the TNI-Polri in utilizing less productive land to be planted with fast-harvesting crops, “he said.
The number one person in the Central Sulawesi Regional Police also hopes that with the presence of this formidable village the community will work together to help each other break the covid-19 chain.
“For that, I advise the community to remind each other about the dangers of Covid-19,” he said.
Prevention efforts must be carried out by implementing strict health protocols, namely; 5M (Wearing a mask, washing hands, keeping distance, keeping away from crowds, limiting mobilization and interaction.
“So that when there are residents who are confirmed positive for Covid-19, or are affected by socio-economics, residents take steps together with the support of the government and TNI-Polri,” he concluded.
The launching of the archipelago’s tough villages was attended by the main officials of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police and elements of the forkopimda in each region and on this occasion the Central Sulawesi Police Chief accompanied by Danrem 132 Tadulako had the opportunity to hand over assistance in the form of two boxes of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), disinvectant spray equipment and six doss masks.
