humas.polri.go.id – In order to enforce the health protocol rules, the East Kalimantan Regional Police’s Directorate of Community Development held an action to distribute masks to traders and visitors to Pandan Sari Market, Tuesday (16/2/2021).
At this social activity, the police also socialize the 5M Movement or use masks, keep their distance, wash their hands, stay away from crowds, and reduce mobility.
The officers approached residents who were caught not wearing masks. The police immediately put masks on the residents who were not wearing the personal protective equipment.
Head of Public Relations of the East Kalimantan Regional Police, Kombes Pol Ade Yaya Suryana, S.I.K., M.H., said that all this time the East Kalimantan Regional Police were proactive in carrying out health protocol enforcement operations to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak.
“This activity is one of the police’s preventive measures in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the jurisdiction of East Kalimantan,” explained Ade Yaya.
