humas.polri.go.id – The ranks of the Polsek Gubug Polres Grobogan carry out traffic safety response activities by patching the potholes at JL. MT. Haryono, Gubug District, Wednesday (10/2/2021) afternoon.
This road patching activity is to anticipate traffic accidents (Lantas). This road patching activity was carried out because the police were concerned about the condition of one of the main roads in the area.
“This response activity is carried out based on information and complaints from road users, especially two-wheeled vehicles,” said Kapolsek AKP Sutikno after patching the road.
The police chief said that the condition of Jalan MT Haryono has asphalt with a hole in it and this condition has been complained by many road users, especially motorbike riders.
He said that this safety response activity was a response action carried out by the Gubug Police as a form of concern for public complaints submitted to the police.
“This is a form of response and our concern for public complaints,” he said.
The activity was attended by the Kapolsek and 10 members of the Gubug Polsek, 4 members of the Gubug Koramil, 4 Satpol PP and local community members.
The public expects attention so that the potholed road is patched or re-asphalt for the safety of road users. At least, this activity can prevent motorcyclists from getting into traffic accidents (then) due to the hole in the road.
“It is hoped that the implementation of this activity will bring closer the friendship and emotional relationship between the Police and the Gubug community,” said AKP Sutikno.
