Anticipating the Spread of Covid-19, the Regional Police of East Kalimantan Holds an Antigen Rapid Test for Personnel

humas.polri.go.id - The East Kalimantan Regional Police held a Rapid Antigen Test for its personnel at the Mahakam Building of the Police Headquarters, Monday (08/02/2021).

Head of Public Relations of the East Kalimantan Regional Police, Kombes Pol Ade Yaya Suryana, explained that this rapid antigen test was carried out in the context of early detection or anticipation of the spread of Covid-19 within the East Kalimantan Regional Police.

"This is an effort to detect the spread of Covid-19 and to anticipate early its spread to members of the Police within the East Kalimantan Regional Police," explained Ade Yaya.

Ade Yaya Suryana also emphasized that the police in handling the Covid-19 case were not playing games. The implementation of health protocols within the Polda and the ranks of satwil itself has become a permanent procedure and must be adhered to.

"We don't want to be careless about Covid-19, therefore early detection, such as the current rapid antigen test, should have been carried out to minimize the transmission of Covid-19," he stressed. He also urges and invites the public to always comply with health protocols.

"Always do the 5M by wearing a mask, washing your hands with soap with running water and keeping your distance, avoiding crowds, and limiting mobilization and interaction," he concluded.
